Three Sixty Project was birthed from the concept of 'one for one'. The idea itself is quite simple - for every skateboard we sell we send one overseas (or within Australia) in support of Skate Programs developed to work with youth in that specific area.
The Three Sixty website allows artists and designers to upload and submit artwork to be manufactured and printed onto our 100% Canadian Hard Rock Maple skateboards. Some decks are chosen to be used In our Skate Range and distributed to shops all over the country, whilst others are chosen for our Artist Range, of which only 10 limited edition decks are produced.
Of these ten decks, one will go to the artist, one will be kept for the Project, and the remaining eight will go on sale on the Project website. For every skateboard we sell we send one to one of the Programs we support. Anyone can submit their artwork, but not all are approved for printing and sale. Please note that unfortunately we cannot print every artwork supplied to us. Please do not take offence if your design is not approved.
The name Three Sixty Project was chosen to represent this concept. Our first goal is to supply 360 skateboards worldwide, but the name also represents the cycle process of everyday people making a difference through the design or purchase of skateboards, either for art or to ride (the decks are 100% hard rock maple, manufactured to international standards). Lastly, and most importantly, 360 degrees represents the impact we aim to have on a global scale. There is no country or region we cannot reach - no teenager or young adult who cannot access a Three Sixty Project skateboard.
All profits made by Three Sixty Project are put towards manufacturing more skateboards and supplying additional products such as wheels, trucks and bearings, and the Programs that receive our decks are documented on the Three Sixty Project website for people to see the impact of their generosity.
